The Real Norfolk Plum Cake
Real Norfolk's plum cake is one of the only recipe left in the UK hat actually still uses real plums. It is packed with real dried plums which often isnt the case in other brands due to the introduction of currants and raisins. Here is a review from Caroline Taggart in the book 'A slice of Britain' - "The tasty Real Norfolk Plum Cake actually contains plums, the only one I'd found anywhere in the country that did. As far back as the 16th century, 'plum' has been used in culinary context to mean 'currants or raisins'."
