Peated to 45ppm, The English - Smokey creates a lovely waft of smoke on the palate. Aged to perfection in specially selected casks, this single malt is the ideal alternative for the Islay fan.
A gentle aroma with hints of vanilla, aniseed & ginger, a creamy palate, a little peat initially and then the smoke bomb! Finish is long, spicy and smokey.
The English Distillery is England’s oldest registered whisky distillery, situated in the beautiful country of Norfolk. Founded by the Nelstrop family in 2006, the distillery is still independent and creates multi award-winning whisky from honest, local ingredients.
