Appassimento Ca'Vittoria Limited Edition 14.5% 75cl

With a perfect blend of Merlot, Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes, the appassimento method has given this wine its deep red colour, a rich and intense aroma and a harmonious taste that is concentrated, bold and fruity. Notes of plums, cherry marmalade, tobacco and spice give way to flavours of chocolate, coffee and vanilla making it undeniably delicious. This wine slips down easily on its own or pair with pasta, grilled red meat, game and flavoursome cheeses.

Amarone is produced in the Veneto Valpolicella area by the ‘appassimento’ method, in which the grapes are dried over the winter to increase the wine’s concentration. This wine deploys the ‘appassimento naturale’ method, whereby a portion of the grapes dried on the vine, so colour, richness and concentration increases in the finished wine.
