Amuseables May Macaron is an old romantic at heart. She spends her days wandering the bridges of Paris, collecting the discarded love locks that once fastened stories together. Each one, she insists, deserves a second chance – polished, catalogued, and given a little ribbon of its own.

Her friends tease that she’s part historian, part matchmaker, but May prefers to think of herself as a curator of happy endings. Every lock, she believes, has a heartbeat – you just have to listen for it.
