This medieval building mostly constructed of knapped flint, has long captured my heart since I moved to UK. If you stand at the edge of the city market looking at the Guildhall right where the angle of this painting is, you wouldn't see the left side of its building as in the painting. It took me a long time to draw and manipulate the angles to fit the two most beautiful sides of the building in one artwork. As a children's book author and illustrator, I enjoy creating another world of magic. In this piece, I hope to create a little story happening on Guildhall rooftop.
