Old amber gold in colour, this Frapin XO VIP charms from the first glance. An exceptional and elegant Cognac, enriched with very old brandies, combines the age, roundness bouquet and finesse characteristics of very old Champagne Cognac.  

Its bouquet has pleasing floral notes and a beautiful, aromatic complexity punctuated with subtle woody tones. An overall elegance typical of aged Cognacs from Grande Champagne. After its delicate aromas, its power in the mouth comes as a surprise. XO VIP offers a palate of flavours, revealing in turn chocolate notes, dried fruit, candied fruit and gingerbread. The expression is sophisticated and complex, with depth, but without ever losing the original freshness of the fruit. Composed with the precision of a sonnet, this Cognac is an ode to the passion behind its creation and flavour.

Established in South-West France since 1270, twenty one generations of the Frapin family have been wine growers and then distillers. It is still a single family estate and lies in the Grande Champagne area, regarded as Cognac's best appellation. Frapin combines knowledge with well-established methods, all of which have been passed down through the generations to hand-craft cognacs that are exclusively harvested, distilled and aged on their estate.
