A full-bodied, juicy red wine with a deep cherry colour and bursting with Autumn fruits on the palate. A pronounced nose of rich spices and vanilla.
Aged for 12 months in oak barriques; a perfect match for red meats.
Winbirri Vineyard produces world-beating English wines here in Norfolk. They have 25 acres in Surlingham which is an important Anglo-Saxon settlement on the edge of the Norfolk Broads National Park. The name Winbirri comes from the Anglo-Saxon 'win' (wine) and 'birri' (grape).
