Château Musar – Bekaa Valley, Lebanon
The story of Château Musar predates the modern nation of Lebanon itself. The winery was established while the country’s borders were still being defined by French authorities — its founder, Gaston Hochar, carefully choosing a coastal site that would ultimately lie within Lebanon. Interestingly, the estate’s vineyards are located around two and a half hours away in the Bekaa Valley, a testament to the region’s diverse geography.
Throughout Lebanon’s turbulent history, Château Musar has endured and thrived, earning an international reputation for producing wines of remarkable character and individuality.
