Jarrolds’ Roaring Support for Break
Jarrolds Retail division is delighted to continue its support for the Break Charity’s Norfolk and Norwich GoGo trails with four Safari sculptures.
Maps of the whole GoGo Safari trail and activity books are available to buy from Customer Services on the 2nd floor in the department store and the collecting tins on the counters in the store and the sale of carrier bags in the store will all go towards supporting Break until the end of the trail. Full details on the GoGoSafari.
Rory the Lion, with his glorious coat by artist Freya James, has found a splendid home in the toy department in the Jarrolds London Street store whilst Rocky the Lion, living up to his name, by artist Sally Adams, stands proudly outside Jarrolds latest Norfolk-inspired restaurant and food hall at Letheringsett, near Holt.
They are complemented by Barnabee a mini-G giraffe creatively decorated by Jarrolds colleagues, who can be found in Jarrolds Stationers on Exchange Street in Norwich. Jarrold the Giraffe was designed by local charity Stepping Stones and supported by the John Jarrold Trust. He is on display in the London Street window of the store.
Roger Bilton- Hill from Stepping Stones said “this has been a real collaborative effort with the students, and it absolutely hit the brief of being vibrant and featuring elements of Norwich and Norfolk. The students, staff and volunteers chose the name from a list of 15 possible names and we are delighted with how much the students enjoyed bringing Jarrold to life!”
