As a Trainee Logistics Manager, you will assist in the planning and coordination of our company's supply chain operations. You will work alongside experienced logistics professionals and receive training on all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrated by application and at interview
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines – candidates will be asked to provide examples of their experience during the interview
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Relevant education in supply chain management, business or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Driving licence - the role will be split across our main Store in the City centre and our Warehouse on the outskirts of Norwich and you will need to be able to travel between the sites as required. Own transport would therefore be preferred.
